JOHN ANDERSON: Founder, CEO and Majority Owner

John started Anderson Air 44 years ago from a passion for Aviation. John is currently the Chairman, CEO and majority owner of The Oppenheimer Group, based in Coquitlam BC. John has worked for Oppenheimer, the oldest operating company in BC, for 40 years and continues to be strategically involved in the business at Anderson Air.

RYAN ANDERSON: President, COO and Owner

Ryan has a passion for aviation and the family business. Ryan joined the team in 2002 as co-pilot in the flight operations. Ryan has gained valuable corporate flying experience for the past 22 years while helping to serve and build the client base. Along with being a Director at The Oppenheimer Group, Ryan is the President, COO and day-to-day driving force of Anderson Air.

LYNN WANG: CPA, CGA, BSc. Chief Financial Officer

Lynn Joined Anderson Air in year 2015 with over 18 years accounting and finance experience. As a Chief Finance Officer, Lynn provides strategic vision and direction for the financial success of the company. Lynn undertakes all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and daily accounting operations. Lynn had previously worked in the fishing industry, property management/ real estate industry and IT industry. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from China and a Diploma in Advanced Accounting from BCIT.

GORDON BARKER: Vice President of Maintenance

Gordon joined Anderson Air in April 2012 as the Director of Maintenance. He is a certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 49 years commercial and business aviation experience, both national and international. In November 2022 he moved into the position of Vice President Maintenance.

DAVID FIELD: Director of Flight Operations

Dave has over 20 years of aviation experience. He started his career working on the ramp while doing his pilot licensing, before joining industry as a pilot and regulatory compliance administrator. Dave has worked for private and commercial corporate flight departments in various roles during his career and joined Anderson Air in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration – Aviation (BBA) from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Master of Business Administration – Finance (MBA) from UBC’s Sauder School of Business.

JOSHUA HALL: Chief Pilot

Josh began his flight training as a teenager in his hometown of Timmins, Ontario.  He started his career flying small single engine aircraft in Halifax, NS in the late 90’s.  From there, Josh returned to Northern Ontario to fly multiengine and turbine multiengine aircraft.  In 2003, Josh continued his journey flying Learjet 35’s around the globe.  He has since obtained several type ratings on various business jets including the Gulfstream 550, Falcon 900 EX Easy and the Global Express XRS.  Josh joined Anderson Air in June 2022.

SARAH GIBSON: Manager of Client Services

Sarah joined Anderson Air in 2021 as a Flight Coordinator and was promoted to the manager of the department in 2021. With over 20 years in travel management, program planning, and hospitality, Sarah now leads the Flight Coordination team at Anderson Air. With her focus on client-centered service, Sarah works with the team to create seamless customer experiences while promoting a culture of service excellence – focusing on doing this every day to ensure that everyone has a safe, organized, and memorable experience. Sarah is passionate about developing and maintaining strong relationships with our valued partners and clients that inspire confidence and loyalty – executing planning with special care and attention and creating the best customer experience through every step of the journey.

LEANNE PEREIRA: Manager of Cabin Experience 

With a passion for service excellence, Leanne has over two decades of customer service expertise, including 17 years in commercial and business aviation.

She began her career as a flight attendant for an award-winning Middle Eastern carrier in 2007 before joining a leading luxury private aviation company, and she was based out of London, UK. In 2015 she assumed leadership responsibilities for the cabin services team across North America, focusing on recruitment, training and management.

Leanne joined Anderson Air in 2022 and was promoted to Manager of Cabin Experience in August 2023. She is dedicated to ensuring seamless customer experiences, inspiring her team to maintain the brand’s standards of excellence through personalized, bespoke cabin services.
