JOHN ANDERSON: Founder, CEO and Majority Owner
John started Anderson Air 39 years ago from a passion for Aviation. John is currently the Chairman, CEO and majority owner of The Oppenheimer Group, based in Coquitlam BC. John has worked for Oppenheimer, the oldest operating company in BC, for 40 years and continues to be strategically involved in the business at Anderson Air.
RYAN ANDERSON: President, COO and Owner
Ryan has a passion for aviation and the family business. Ryan joined the team in 2002 as co-pilot in the flight operations. Ryan has gained valuable corporate flying experience for the past 18 years while helping to serve and build the client base. Along with being a Director at The Oppenheimer Group, Ryan is the President, COO and day-to-day driving force of Anderson Air.
LYNN WANG: CPA, CGA, BSc. Controller
Lynn Joined Anderson Air in year 2015 with over 12 years accounting experience. As a controller, Lynn undertakes all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and daily accounting operations. Lynn had previously worked in the fishing industry, property management/ real estate industry and IT industry. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from China and a Diploma in Advanced Accounting from BCIT.
GORDON BARKER: Director of Maintenance
Gordon is a certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 49 years commercial and business aviation experience, both national and international. He is the person responsible for the fleet maintenance, Transport Canada liaison and supervision of the Approved Maintenance Organization’s performance.
CHRIS PARCHMENT: Operations Manager
Chris began his career in aviation over 40 years ago in the Airline Industry transitioning to Corporate Business Aviation over the last 11 years. His many positions include, Chief Pilot, Training Captain, Line Captain and Operations Controller/Dispatcher. Chris’ experience spans globally, accumulating over 18,000 flying hours.
Talia Smith: Manager of Flight Coordination
After spending nearly a decade working across North America in tourism, marketing and communications, Talia now leads the Flight Coordination team at Anderson Air. She brings over ten years of client service experience to the team and is passionate about building relationships that inspire confidence and loyalty. Talia holds a BA in Communication Studies with honours from Concordia University.
Hayley Thomas: Office Coordinator & Executive Assistant
Hayley joined Anderson Air in 2017 as a Flight Coordinator and Cabin Attendant after working in previous roles in office administration and customer service. She is now supporting Anderson Air as an Office Coordinator and Executive Assistant. Hayley obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Victoria.
